This book is my first published piece of writing that is near and dear to me. As a kid I was fascinated with monsters and horror, which was funny because I experienced nightmares almost every night growing up. Monster Boy and The Nightmare King is about the imagination brought to life, of facing ones fears, and the act of embracing who you are––along with what goes bump in the night.
