Life Before Writing

Along with an assortment of jobs I’ve had in the past, one of the most memorable experiences was being a circus performer. I performed in a four-man acrobat act (R.I.P. my knees) and then, with some help, I developed a solo balancing act!

I’m a HUGE horror fan and my entire personality is mostly based around that. Like any true horror fan, if you ask me what my favorite horror movie is I will redirect you to a memorized questionnaire starting with: “Well, what category? Are you wanting a film from a specific studio? When you say classic do you mean Universal/Hammer Horror? Or the 70’s slasher era?” And so on and exhaustingly so forth.

I think you get it.

In 2017 I went on a solo backpacking trip for 3 1/2 months around the world*. I got the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and experience so much more out of life from a new perspective. It’s a journey I willnever forget–– because I took a bunch of silly photos like these to remember it by.
